Harry Bosch: Christmas Detective

OK. I’m stretching it a bit here, but this show is really excellent and extremely binge watchable which is exactly what I did over the President’s Day long weekend. Fair warning, it’s pretty dark and there’s a serial killer but the series also takes place at Christmastime and Harry’s ex-wife has a very pretty tree. The first episode is even called “Tis the Season.” Ha ha… Anyway, just watch it and see if you can spot Santa in the trailer above.

It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas in the Trailer for Aloha

The trailer for Cameron Crowe’s new movie, Aloha, came out yesterday and it looks fantastic! Keep in mind that this isn’t just because Bradley Cooper, Emma Stone, Rachel McAdams AND my boyfriend Bill Murray are in the flick. If you pay attention to the setting and various backgrounds in the video you’ll also get more than a few glimpses of Christmas including trees, gifts, lights, nutcrackers, wreaths, Danny McBride in a santa hat, and even a holiday meltdown — just like in real life! IMDB currently has the release date listed as May 29, 2015. Christmas in May sounds good to me.
